Terms of Service

1. Scope and provider

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of txtovid.com (“Service”), operated by [FULL NAME / COMPANY], [ADDRESS] (“we”, “us”). By creating an account you accept these Terms.

2. The service

txtovid generates videos from text prompts using third-party AI models (currently HappyHorse 1.1 via Alibaba Cloud Model Studio), stores generated videos, and provides a community feed for videos users choose to publish. Generation results are probabilistic; we do not guarantee that any output matches your expectations or is fit for a particular purpose.

3. Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old. Provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and do not share or sell accounts. One free test generation is granted per person — circumventing this limit (e.g. multiple accounts) may lead to suspension.

4. Credits, prices and payment

Video generation is paid from a prepaid USD credit balance. All prices are shown net; for EU consumers, VAT at the applicable local rate is added at checkout (One-Stop-Shop). Payments are processed by Stripe.

  • Top-ups: $5–$500 per transaction. Top-up credits do not expire.
  • Subscriptions: monthly credit grants at 5% discount (7% with yearly billing). Subscription credits expire 12 months after each grant.
  • Auto top-up: optional automatic refills using your saved payment method; disabled automatically after repeated failures.
  • Generation cost is displayed before submission and deducted on submission; failed generations are refunded automatically to your balance.
  • Credits are not redeemable for cash and are non-transferable, except where required by mandatory law.

5. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

For credit top-ups and subscriptions you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. When you request immediate service delivery (spending credits on generations), you expressly consent to performance before the withdrawal period ends and acknowledge losing the right of withdrawal for consumed services. Unused top-up credit is refunded upon valid withdrawal within 14 days of purchase.

6. Content rules

You must not generate, upload or publish content that:

  • is illegal, defamatory, harassing or hateful;
  • sexualizes minors or depicts non-consensual sexual content (zero tolerance);
  • infringes copyrights, trademarks or personality rights (including deceptive deepfakes of real persons);
  • constitutes disinformation presented as authentic footage of real events;
  • attempts to bypass content moderation.

7. Rights to generated videos

As between you and us, you own the videos you generate, to the extent permitted by applicable law and the upstream model provider's terms, and may use them commercially. If you publish a video to the community feed, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and promote it on the Service (including preview thumbnails and share pages) for as long as it remains published. You can unpublish at any time. Prompts of published videos are displayed publicly by design.

8. Moderation and enforcement

Inputs and outputs pass automated moderation (including the model provider's filters). We may remove content, restrict features or suspend accounts for violations, with notice where legally required. Users can report content; repeated or severe violations lead to termination. You may appeal moderation decisions via [CONTACT EMAIL].

9. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service; maintenance windows and upstream model outages can occur. We may modify features, models and prices with effect for the future — price changes never affect credits you already hold, and active subscription periods remain at their agreed price.

10. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence, and injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual duties, limited to the typical foreseeable damage. We are not liable for content generated at users' request or for how users deploy their videos. Mandatory statutory liability (including product liability) remains unaffected.

11. Termination

You may delete your account anytime in Settings; deletion becomes permanent after a 30-day grace period. Remaining credits lapse upon final deletion, except where mandatory law provides otherwise. We may terminate accounts for material breaches of these Terms.

12. Final provisions
