Wan 2.7: The Second Engine Inside txtovid
Wan 2.7 is Alibaba Model Studio's newest video generation family — and it's now available on txtovid as a second engine alongside HappyHorse 1.1. Pick it from the model dropdown at the top right of the generator and you get four capabilities, longer prompts, finer control and lower per-second prices.
What Wan 2.7 can do
The family covers the full txtovid generator lineup with four dedicated models: wan2.7-t2v turns text prompts into video, wan2.7-i2v animates an uploaded image as the first frame, wan2.7-r2v keeps a subject from your reference images consistent in a brand-new scene, and wan2.7-videoedit restyles or transforms an existing clip while preserving its motion.
All modes render at 720P or 1080P in 3–15 second clips. Text-to-video supports 16:9, 9:16 and 1:1 (references-to-video 16:9 and 9:16); image-to-video follows your image's aspect ratio, and video editing keeps the duration and format of your input clip.

More control than HappyHorse
Wan 2.7 accepts prompts up to 5,000 characters — double HappyHorse's 2,000/2,500 budget — which makes it ideal for detailed scene direction and multi-shot videos: describe each shot explicitly ("Shot 1 [0–3 seconds]: aerial city reveal. Shot 2 [3–8 seconds]: street-level tracking shot…") and the model cuts between them.
You also get an optional negative prompt (up to 500 characters) to exclude unwanted elements like blur, text overlays or extra limbs, and an optional seed: fix it to reproduce a result exactly, or leave it random to explore variations.
Pricing: Wan 2.7 vs HappyHorse 1.1
Wan 2.7 is the cheaper engine on txtovid: the list price is $0.10/second at 720P and $0.15/second at 1080P, plus the flat $0.05/second platform fee that applies to every engine. HappyHorse 1.1 lists at $0.14/$0.18 plus the same fee.
Concretely: a 5-second 720P Wan 2.7 clip costs $0.75 before discounts, versus $0.95 with HappyHorse. Public sharing saves 10% and subscription plans another 2–7% — the exact total is always shown before you generate.
